Participation Deadline Extension for Intercultural Mediators’ Call (26/08/2026) in Health Structures in North Aegean Region.
ILIAKTIDA AMKE, announces a 7-days participation deadline extension until 7th of September 2026 at 15:00 pm for jobs openings as part of the implementation of the project “Action 4.9.1 – Provision of intercultural mediation services in health services” of the North Aegean Regional Development Plan, within the framework of the 2021-2027 programming period of the European Social Fund (ESF+) with MIS 18265 and an implementation period of 3 years.
The aim of the project is to provide in-person and/or remote intercultural mediation/ interpretation services in health services, in order to ensure the service and equal and effective communication of third-country citizens with doctors, nursing staff and the administration of health units.
Intercultural mediation services (in person) are planned to be provided in at least five (5) Health Structures of the North Aegean Region (Lesvos, Chios and Samos).

The selected staff will be employed, with a Fixed-Term Contract, Part-time (20 hours/week) employment with five-day work Monday – Saturday. The duration of employment is defined from the signing of the contract until December 31, 2026 with the possibility of annual renewals until the completion of the action. The remuneration of the Intercultural Mediator is set at €589.25 gross salary for part-time employment.
The employees will be employed in the city of Mytilene either from the Iliaktida facilities, or they will be placed at the Mytilene General Hospital “Vostaneio” and remotely for the other health structures.
